Amanda C.E. Knab is an associate at NB Law, where she represents start-ups and emerging and mature private companies across an array of industries including healthcare, technology, manufacturing and distribution, retail, automotive and industrial services and construction. She assists clients with entity formation, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions (buy- and sell-side) and private placement of debt and equity securities (offeror- and investor-side), in addition to matters relating to general corporate issues.
Prior to joining NB Law, Ms. Knab was an associate at Venable LLP where her practice focused on complex mergers and acquisitions, commercial loan transactions and public and private security matters in addition to providing regular legal advice to a private equity fund with investments in lower-middle market companies throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions.
Admitted to practice in Maryland, Ms. Knab is a 2014 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and the Leadership Scholars Program, and a 2009 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland.
Ms. Knab is Vice President and a member of the board of directors of Friends of Great Kids Farm, in addition to Chair of the Marketing and Communications Committee. She is also a member of the Grater Baltimore Committee’s Education and Workforce Committee.
