The American Heart Association is celebrating its centennial – 100 years since it began fighting heart disease and stroke and helping families and communities.
More from the American Heart Association: 100 Years of Impact
This May, the Greater Maryland Heart Ball provided an opportunity to recognize leaders, share inspiring stories, and commemorate the hard work of the organization and its supporters. Nemphos Braue was proud to sponsor the event held at the M&T Bank Exchange and be part of this momentous occasion. George and Claudia Nemphos served as this year’s auction chairs, spearheading the efforts that yielded an incredible lineup of items available from generous donors. Items ranged from autographed sports memorabilia to one-of-a-kind experiences, travel, spa treatments, food, entertainment and more. George has been very active in the auction for several years, and officially joined the Greater Maryland Chapter’s Board of Directors last year.
Nemphos Braue Corporate Associate J. Teigen Hall was also recognized at the Heart Ball for his work as a Leader of Impact. Teigen was part of a team that raised money during a 7-week campaign last fall.
Lauren Ziegler, Michelle Varkey and Claudia Nemphos were also on hand for recent Go Red for Women events.
Our heartfelt thanks to all those who put in a tremendous amount of work to make these events happen and to all those caregivers who work tirelessly every day in support of loved ones.
