George J. Nemphos is a founding member of Nemphos Braue Law representing entrepreneurs, start-ups, emerging and mature companies, as well as independent sponsors, venture capital and private equity funds. Mr. Nemphos has extensive experience in representing and assisting clients in entity choice and formation, mergers and acquisitions, private placements of debt and equity, complex joint ventures, structural and day-to-day issues, as well as corporate governance and securities law compliance.

Tim E. Braue is a founding member of Nemphos Braue Law. He focuses his practice in the area of sophisticated corporate transactions. Mr. Braue frequently represents private companies, venture capital investors and private equity funds in connection with mergers and acquisitions, private securities offerings and general corporate matters.

During the Administration of Governor Bob Ehrlich, Lininger served as the Director of Government Relations for the Maryland Insurance Administration. During that time, he worked with Commissioner Kathleen Birrane who was then Principal Counsel to the Maryland Insurance Administration. Lininger was also head of his own government affairs consulting firm, and he served on the transition team for Governor Larry Hogan.
Erik M. Feig brings more than 20 years of experience representing and working with innovators in a variety of emerging and established technology, information and content sectors, most recently having served more than a decade as General Counsel of a leading information technology and services company.

Lauren B. Ziegler is Of Counsel at NB Law, where she represents startups, emerging and mature private companies, and investors in a variety of corporate, securities and business law matters. She regularly assists clients with mergers and acquisitions, capital raises and securities laws compliance, technology transactions, entity formation and governance, joint ventures, business structuring, and contract management and negotiation.
Lauren B. Ziegler
CJ Santos is an associate at NB Law, where he represents emerging and mature private companies and venture capital investors. He frequently represents clients in private company mergers and acquisitions (both buy and sale side), private equity transactions and debt-financing. Mr. Santos also handles a variety of matters relating to corporate governance, general corporate issues and business law.

In her role as Associate at Nemphos Braue, Jeanine Joseph focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, business reorganizations, debt and equity financings, and venture capital transactions within a wide range of industries including industrial services, technology, intellectual property, e-commerce, education, healthcare and life sciences.

Corporate Associate Matthew L. Allison supports clients across a number of industries while leveraging his background in mergers and acquisitions, financings and corporate governance. Allison also has experience collaborating on deal terms and managing multiple client requests throughout the deal-life process, overseeing general corporate issues and business law, and interpreting complex organizational documents.
Matthew L. Allison
American Joe Miedusiewski served in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1975-1988 and in the State Senate from 1988-1995 and has substantial relationships with key legislators. He was a member of the Senate Economic and Environmental Affairs Committee, and Chair of the Alcohol Beverage Subcommittee. He also created the Maryland Film Commission, generating tens of millions of dollars in economic activity annually.

Sherry Dudley Nickerson is an experienced lobbyist and policy advisor with an extensive background advancing client interests and shaping policy positions while developing relationships with federal and state government officials. As Government Affairs Director for Old Line Government Affairs, she supports existing clients and develops new relationships to extend the firm’s commitment to providing a high level of service with representation across the aisle.

A graduate of George Washington University, Derrick Covington uses his background in legal research and political science to support both firm operations and client services as a Law Clerk. Prior to joining Nemphos Braue, Covington led a research team focused on telecommunications and contract law as a Research Assistant at his alma mater. Covington also supports clients as a Government Affairs Specialist with our lobbying affiliate, Old Line Government Affairs.
Will Clemens serves as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer and has broad financial advisory and operational experience with emerging growth companies. He is responsible for financial and operational management for the firm.

Candace helps drive internal and external client development strategies for the firm. She also supports the firm’s client and community relations and brand enhancement initiatives for the Atlantic region.
Director of Business Development and Client Services
Pamela serves as the firm’s office manager and has assisted George and Tim for over 12 years. She joined Nemphos Braue in September 2016 after a long career with two international law firms, as well as one of the world’s leading financial institutions serving in their legal department division.
Tayler serves as the firm’s Legal Secretary. She joined Nemphos Braue in 2017 after a career with a financial institution managing a large array of client transactions. Tayler is a native of Maryland.
Kimberly serves the firm as a legal assistant. Having spent one year teaching history classes in Guatemala and working in NYC for various law firms, Kimberly joined Nemphos Braue in 2018, bringing eight years of legal experience to the firm as well as Spanish translation services.
