FTC Ban on Noncompetes Struck Down by Federal Judge

This week a federal judge in Texas struck down the Federal Trade Commission’s proposed ban on noncompete agreements — a ruling that goes into effect nationwide.

The ban issued in April had been set to go into effect September 4th. The FTC may consider an appeal.
