Gill Appointed to Maryland Free Board of Directors

Candace R. Gill, Director of Business Development and Client Services for Nemphos Braue, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Maryland Free Enterprise Foundation (Maryland Free).

Maryland Free, formerly Maryland Business for Responsive Government, is a non-partisan, non-profit political research and education organization supported by corporations, trade associations, small businesses, chambers of commerce, and individuals. The group, founded in 1983, informs Maryland’s business and political communities on matters related to creating a positive business climate that drives job growth.

As Director of Business Development and Client Services for Nemphos Braue, a boutique corporate law firm based in Towson, Gill helps drive internal and external client development strategies for the firm.  She also supports the firm’s client and community relations and brand enhancement initiatives for the Mid-Atlantic region.

“I’m honored to have been selected to join the Maryland Free Board of Directors, and to work with them to engage more business leaders, including young professionals, who are passionate about growing business in Maryland,” states Gill.

With more than 10 years of experience in professional services, commercial business development and sales, she is known as a passionate connector among her extensive network throughout the region, particularly in the economic development, legal, energy, life sciences, manufacturing and technology industries.

“We couldn’t be more pleased to welcome Candace at a time of unprecedented growth and momentum for the organization. She’s the ideal representative of a generation of business leaders who fully understand that—regardless of their political affiliation or views on social issues—it is critically important that we tear down barriers for Maryland’s job creators”, said Scott Dorsey, Chairman and CEO of Merritt Companies and Maryland Free’s Board Chair.
