Baltimore, Md. (June 6, 2017) – Nemphos Braue LLC (NB Law) associate Lauren B. Ziegler was featured Tuesday morning on a panel discussion hosted by The Daily Record.
Ziegler was one of about a dozen women featured as part of The Daily Record’s Women’s Leadership Summit, an event that brought together recipients of The Daily Record’s Top 100 Women and Leading Women awards as well as other female professionals to explore and learn about topics ranging from community giving to mentoring. The event, which was hosted at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, featured a keynote address by Education Foundation of the Baltimore County Public Schools Executive Director Deborah Phelps.
Ziegler, who works with emerging and mature private companies, venture capital investors and private equity funds in her role at NB Law, spoke on a panel focused on the importance of self-care, self-attention and self-regulation in personal and professional development.
“I enjoy my work in law, but it can be easy to get distracted and forget to give myself the same level of care and attention I give to my clients,” Ziegler said. “The Women’s Leadership Summit was a great chance to share my own experiences with other successful businesswomen and I think we were all able to learn from each other.”
Ziegler is a 2011 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law.
