Nemphos Braue LLC, the premier corporate boutique law firm in the Mid-Atlantic region, is pleased to announce the addition of Carlos “CJ” Santos as an associate attorney with its corporate team.
Santos represents clients in sophisticated private company mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, debt-financing and general corporate matters. At NB Law, Santos will focus on debt finance and commercial lending transactions, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate counsel representation.
A seasoned legal counsel, Santos previously served as an associate attorney at McGuireWoods LLP, where he acted as underwriter’s counsel for public finance transactions involving healthcare institutions and charter schools and bank’s counsel for secured loan financings. Prior to this position, he was an associate attorney at McKennon Shelton & Henn LLP, where as bond counsel he handled transactions involving general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, tax increment financings, and debt and lease financing.

Santos received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where he was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution team and a recipient of the Public Service Award in 2013.
