New initiative unites Maryland’s innovation and corporate communities to solve real-time business challenges
As entrepreneurs themselves and strong supporters of other local entrepreneurs, Nemphos Braue is proud to sponsor the inaugural Maryland Business Innovation Challenge (MDBIC), an initiative from the Maryland Business Innovation Association and the Maryland Department of Commerce, designed to bring together the state’s corporate community with local innovators to solve real-time business challenges. Nemphos Braue and TEDCO are serving as the Visionary Sponsors.
Through this initiative, participating companies will submit “challenge statements” and Maryland’s innovation community – including startups, academia, and other small businesses – will have an opportunity to pitch potential solutions.
INTRODUCING…THE CORPORATE CHALLENGERS
IBM, SC&H Group and Healthworx, the innovation and investment arm of CareFirst BlueCross, BlueShield, have committed to be “Corporate Challengers.” To better prepare participants for submissions, each company will participate in a webinar to present more details about their specific challenges and explain what they’re looking for from participants, and to answer questions.
