A New Year’s update: The U.S. Supreme Court has been asked to weigh in on the CTA saga.
On December 26, 2024, the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit issued an order that reinstates the preliminary injunction on the CTA from December 3.
The injunction on the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) has been temporarily lifted and there is an updated deadline for business owners to register with FinCEN.
