For more than 15 years, GBC, a regional, membership organization of more than 500 businesses, nonprofit organizations and educational and civic institutions, has been recognizing, through its Bridging the Gap Achievement Awards, exceptional minority and women-owned businesses and executives who nurture the development of minority and women-owned businesses in Greater Baltimore and Maryland. GBC’s Bridging the Gap initiative strives to advance Greater Baltimore’s business culture by creating an atmosphere for minority and women-owned businesses to succeed.
“I’m very excited to be a part of GBC’s Bridging the Gap Committee,” said Ziegler. “It is important to recognize all of the wonderful achievements by women and minority-owned businesses. There are so many great people doing great things in the business community and it is an honor to be a part of this committee that promotes and celebrates their strengths and successes.”
