A graduate of George Washington University, Derrick Covington will support firm operations as well as contribute to client services in his role as a Law Clerk. Covington brings a background in political science to the table, as well as a keen eye for detail, honed during time spent in benefits processing efforts with the Maryland State Retirement Agency. Prior to joining Nemphos Braue, Covington led a team engaged in legal research at George Washington University as a Research Assistant, where he focused on contract and telecommunications law.
“We are really excited to have Derrick on our team at Nemphos Braue,” said founding member George Nemphos. “We are impressed with his background in research and his commitment to his own development as a law professional. We expect Derrick will be a tremendous asset to NB Law and our clients.”
In addition to his work with the Nemphos Braue team, Covington will also contribute to client services as a Government Affairs Specialist with our lobbying affiliate, Old Line Government Affairs.
