We would like to welcome and share the news of our newest member to join the Nemphos Braue team! Alexa Sabatini will be a Summer Associate with the firm as she is gearing up for her second year of law school in the Fall. Originally born in Hawaii, Alexa lived on the North Shore of Oahu, and although she misses the food and mix of cultures, she is excited to learn more about corporate and business law.
From a young age, Alexa always thought about becoming a lawyer and has taken that dream and turned it into a reality while studying at Hofstra Law. In undergrad she concentrated on pre-law and found the technical aspects of business law fascinating.
She is particularly interested in mergers and acquisitions given how dynamic they can be, with specific focus in the healthcare space since she grew up around it. Her grandfather Nelson Sabatini was Maryland’s Secretary of Health & Mental Hygiene under multiple administrations – Governors Schaefer and Ehrlich.
In law school she was counseled to only go to partners with questions as a last resort, but here at Nemphos Braue she’s already noticed how accessible and welcoming all the attorneys are, including the leading members – George, Tim and Lauren.
She graduated with a dual degree at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Business and Management and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Art History.
