Two out of five states passed cannabis legalization efforts this Tuesday! In Maryland, it was a long time coming. In Missouri, it appears to be standard timing for the evolution of a marketplace. For Arkansas, North Dakota, and South Dakota, however, the industry could not gather the votes. This doesn’t necessarily mean that cannabis actually “lost” in these states. There are specific reasons associated with election results in those states. Our blog will continue to provide further analysis on the continued market changes in these new adult-use states.
