Christopher D. Scott is a veteran tax attorney from the Baltimore-Philadelphia area with vast experience in transactions, a comprehensive legal background, and advanced knowledge of tax law. Christopher focuses on corporate mergers and acquisitions and related income tax planning, and identifying ways to improve the tax results for clients.
Christopher brings experience in general business tax practice with an emphasis on commercial real estate transactions and financial fund formation. With this work, he has drafted numerous limited partnership and LLC agreements, wills, and trusts and has successfully resolved employment tax and estate tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service. His advanced tax knowledge has also helped clients in unique transactions like liquidating a bankrupt affiliated group of corporations and restructuring the remaining businesses; or structuring domestic subsidiaries of publicly traded foreign corporations to minimize aggregate state and federal taxes.
