J. Teigen Hall

Corporate Associate J. Teigen Hall assists entrepreneurs and emerging companies, private equity and venture capital funds, and national and international companies across a wide range of industries with a variety of corporate, securities and business law matters. Teigen’s expertise across practice areas underscores Nemphos Braue’s strength as a strategic partner to its clients in legal services ranging from entity structuring, contracts and corporate governance to private equity, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate counsel.

With more than 10 years of experience in large regionally recognized law firms, Teigen is an award-winning attorney as both a litigator and as a corporate and transactional attorney. He frequently advises clients in the manufacturing, consumer products, industrial services, technology, construction, telehealth, and insurance industries, as well as companies in the capital markets and healthcare space.

Teigen earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Lehigh University, where he was also a member of the Division 1 Men’s Lacrosse Team and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He has been admitted to the Bar in both Maryland and Washington, D.C. ­

Teigen has received the prestigious Super Lawyers award 8 years in a row, from 2014 to 2022, for his continued dedication to clients’ needs and going beyond the standard level of care within the legal community. Additionally, he received the Best Lawyers in America award in 2023 for his exceptional work in the field of mergers and acquisitions. In 2021, Teigen’s commitment to public service was recognized by Governor Hogan and he was appointed to the Bay Restoration Fund Advisory Committee for a term of four years.
