An award-winning professional services development leader with a proven track record for driving business growth across a variety of industries, Katie M. Bush serves as Director of Business Development for Nemphos Braue and its lobbying affiliate, Old Line Government Affairs. Dedicated to helping businesses reach their goals, she is highly regarded for her ability not only to create, but to nourish strong relationships from the start with business leaders at all levels and all stages – from startup to exit. In her role, Katie also spearheads the cultivation of key partnerships with like-minded businesses and organizations.
Katie previously represented the accounting firm KatzAbosch as Director of Business Development and Client Relations, identifying new market opportunities and expanding the client base. She also contributed to enhanced sales opportunities, account expansion, referral relationships and increased sponsorship and revenue generation through her business development and client success roles at sports, promotional and global training companies based in the mid-Atlantic.
Dedicated to giving back to the community, Katie volunteers with a variety of Baltimore-area nonprofits. She serves on the Associate Leadership Council for Junior Achievement of Central Maryland and is a Red Shoe Crew Member for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maryland. She was honored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as a 2019 Maryland’s Finest Honoree and is a graduate of the Business Volunteers Maryland GIVE Program. She is actively involved in numerous committees and programs for business-focused organizations, and in 2023, Katie was recognized with I95 Business Magazine’s Women of Influence Award.
Katie earned her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from Towson University. Active with students and alumni, she serves on the Executive Committee for the university’s Business and Leadership Alumni Alliance and works closely with the career center to connect alumni and students with mentorship opportunities.
