George J. Nemphos is a founding member of NB Law representing entrepreneurs, start-ups, emerging and mature companies, as well as venture capital and private equity funds. Mr. Nemphos has extensive experience in representing and assisting clients in entity choice and formation, mergers and acquisitions, private placements of debt and equity, complex joint ventures, structural and day-to-day issues, as well as corporate governance and securities law compliance.
Tim E. Braue is a founding member of NB Law. He focuses his practice in the area of sophisticated corporate transactions. Mr. Braue frequently represents private companies, venture capital investors and private equity funds in connection with mergers and acquisitions, private securities offerings and general corporate matters.
Brett Lininger is Of Counsel for Nemphos Braue and Government Affairs Attorney for its subsidiary Old Line Government Affairs. In his role for Nemphos Braue, Mr. Lininger provides legal representation to entities regulated by the Maryland Insurance Administration on various insurance regulatory matters. He also provides corporate legal counsel to a wide array of companies.
Government Affairs Director
American Joe Miedusiewski served in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1975-1988 and in the State Senate from 1988-1995 and has substantial relationships with key legislators. He was a member of the Senate Economic and Environmental Affairs Committee, and Chair of the Alcohol Beverage Subcommittee. He also created the Maryland Film Commission, generating tens of millions of dollars in economic activity annually.
Erik M. Feig brings more than twenty years’ experience representing and working with innovators in a variety of emerging and established technology, information and content sectors, most recently having served more than a decade as General Counsel of a leading information technology and services company.
Lauren B. Ziegler
Lauren B. Ziegler is an associate at NB Law, where she represents startups, emerging and mature private companies, and investors in a variety of corporate, securities and business law matters. She regularly assists clients with entity formation and governance, mergers and acquisitions, private placements of debt and equity securities, technology transactions, business structuring, and contract management and negotiation.
Carlos “CJ” Santos
CJ Santos is an associate at NB Law, where he represents emerging and mature private companies and venture capital investors. He frequently represents clients in private company mergers and acquisitions (both buy and sale side), private equity transactions, and debt-financing. Mr. Santos also handles a variety of matters relating to corporate governance, general corporate issues and business law.

In her role as Associate at Nemphos Braue, Jeanine Joseph focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, business reorganizations, debt and equity financings, and venture capital transactions within a wide range of industries including technology, intellectual property, e-commerce, education, healthcare, and life sciences.
Chief Financial Officer
Will Clemens serves as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer and has broad financial advisory and operational experience with emerging growth companies. He is responsible for financial and operational management for the firm.
Director of Business Development and Client Services
Candace helps drive internal and external client development strategies for the firm. She also supports the firm’s client and community relations and brand enhancement initiatives for the Atlantic region.
Pamela serves as the firm’s office manager and has assisted George and Tim for over ten years. She joined Nemphos Braue LLC in September 2016 after a long career with two international law firms, as well as one of the world’s leading financial institutions serving in their legal department division.
Tayler serves as the firm’s Legal Secretary. She joined Nemphos Braue LLC in 2017 after a career with a financial institution managing a large array of client transactions. Tayler is a native of Maryland.
Kimberly serves the firm as a legal assistant. Having spent one-year teaching History classes in Guatemala and working in NYC for various law firms, Kim joined Nemphos Braue LLC in 2018, bringing eight years of legal experience to the firm as well as Spanish translation services.
