Lauren B. Ziegler is an associate at NB Law, where she represents startups, emerging and mature private companies, and investors in a variety of corporate, securities and business law matters. She regularly assists clients with entity formation and governance, mergers and acquisitions, private placements of debt and equity securities, technology transactions, business structuring, and contract management and negotiation. Ms. Ziegler has worked with industrial services companies, technology companies, real estate investment trusts, real estate developers, and companies in the health care, life sciences, manufacturing, financial services, and wholesale and distribution industries.
Before joining NB Law, Ms. Ziegler was an associate at Ballard Spahr LLP where her practice focused on corporate governance, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law compliance and reporting.
Admitted to practice in Maryland, Ms. Ziegler is a 2011 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she was a member of the Heuisler Honor Society, and a 2003 summa cum laude graduate of McDaniel College, where she was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
Ms. Ziegler is on the board of directors of GEM (Girls’ Empowerment Mission), a program to empower high school girls from under-served communities by providing opportunities and growth experiences that will enable them to become independent, self-sufficient and confident young women. Ms. Ziegler is also a member of the Greater Baltimore Committee’s Bridging the Gap Committee, which strives to advance Greater Baltimore’s business culture by creating an atmosphere for minority and women-owned businesses to succeed.
