Tim Braue Joins Junior Achievement of Central Maryland
Nemphos Braue LLC’s Tim Braue has been named a member of the board of directors of Junior Achievement of Central Maryland Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating young people to succeed in a rapidly changing economy.
Prior to forming Nemphos Braue law, Braue has worked at some of the largest corporate law firms in the world, leading transaction teams in complex, multibillion-dollar financing and acquisitions. He also served in very high federal and state government positions.
Braue served in the White House as Deputy Associate Director of Presidential Personnel and was later appointed by President George W. Bush to be the Counsel to the Attorney General in the U.S Department of Justice. Braue was the Deputy Secretary of Appointments for Governor Robert L. At Nemphos Braue, he focuses his practice on sophisticated corporate transactions and represents private companies, venture capital investors and private equity funds. He is also the President of Old Line Government Affairs, LLC.
“It’s truly an honor for me to be able to serve on the Board of Junior Achievement,” said Braue. “I am passionate about JA’s mission of teaching young people about financial literacy and entrepreneurship, and I look forward to contributing to the success of our next generation of business leaders through my efforts on behalf of this incredible organization.”
Braue graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law, and he earned his bachelor degree from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in Economics and Political Science. In 2016, Braue was honored with SmartCEO’s Center of Influence Award for his work advising Baltimore’s top CEOs.
